About Us

Belonging to the north-east Indian state of Assam, we are very proud of the rich cultural heritage and bountifully resource-laden land of our beautiful, picturesque homeland stretching across valleys and hills and braided by the mighty Brahmaputra. This is the land where nature and communities have lived harmoniously for centuries. Just like any other region, this part of the world also had its own share of history smeared with blood and tales of loss and victory.

The richness and beauty of our land is captured in terms like – blue hills and red river. Living in Guwahati is like living on the banks of the Brahmaputra. The river, calm on the surface, is very turbulent underneath due to strong undercurrents. To my view, this is symbolic of the fact that no matter how challenging life-situations may be, it is very important to maintain a calm composure. The mighty river never fails to sustain and inspire those who are dependent on it.

Drawing inspiration from my homeland, through its phases of turmoil and peace, and the unfailing spirit of the people, a bold step was taken towards forming a literary platform for creative people to sit and share their thoughts and works. The common platform was named Creative Curaators.

Creative Curaators is formed with the objective of providing a steady platform where creative personalities from all genres can freely exchange their thoughts, ideas, and pieces of creative work. This will enable the collective to learn, share, and grow together as a literary movement. Since its first informal meet in April 2026 in Guwahati, Assam, there has been an initiative taken and planning is underway for activities and events in the times ahead. There is no better way than coming up with a website for Creative Curaators to accelerate progress towards the encouragement and advancement of creative activities not only amongst those who are already in prominence but those who are wanting to make a debut in the world of literature and art.

Creative Curaators also aims to encourage, help, and guide young talents to showcase their work because they hold the key to a sustainable literary continuation in terms of creativity and originality in a world taken over by AI (artificial intelligence).

The backdrop against which Creative Curaators has been formed is one of hand-holding, trust, and mutual respect. The result of long years of deliberation and determination to establish a common meeting point for creative people gradually gave way to this platform. Creative people are the curators of our culture and harbingers of sustainable cultural movements. This is true even today. Irrespective of the advancement in technology and science, the pen is still mightier than the sword. An original written story or a hand painting is worth millions more than one generated with the help of artificial intelligence.

So in tune with our times, Creative Curaators has started with the launch of Vibe: the pulsating e-magazine, as part of its objective to build a collective literary platform. The e-magazine shall feature short stories, poetry, travelogues, artwork, or photography based on the theme decided by Team Creative Curaators.

Furthermore, Creative Curaators is looking forward to holding physical meetings from time to time so that the informalities build a greater level of trust and respect for each other. Details will be uploaded accordingly.
